Luxon’s denial he had sided with the protestors came after world famous PM Jacinda Ardern called Luxon out yesterday.
“What I will say to you is it’s a bit disingenuous of the Prime Minister to say particularly because all I was challenging was the fact that there is deep-seeded frustration in New Zealand and we don’t have great clarity around the COVID plan and just because you challenge the Prime Minister, doesn’t mean you should be slatted for being on one side of this or the other side of it,” he told AM.
But truth was Sir John’s man had said the following words in his speech on Monday …
“Kiwis should be able to sympathise with some of the issues being raised by protesters on Parliament’s grounds without being framed as condoning illegal behaviour or siding with anti-science conspiracy theorists.”
.
So it’s right there in black and white that Luxon was encouraging sympathy for the protestors who wanted an immediate end to all Covid restrictions as omicron spreads across New Zealand.
Of course Luxon would use the AM slot to deny this and the former manBun and Mellissa were not about to hold him to account when National were trying to get out of jail here.
A few minutes later in Luxon’s speech …Luxon said…
“The way I think about it, mandates were justified for a while as a temporary measure as we battled Covid and lifted vaccination rates. What we need from the Government is an honest conversation and some straight talking over the issue of mandates. It’s not good enough for the Prime Minister to just shrug her shoulders and say “they’ll go at some point” and not enter into a dialogue over when and how. We deserve more than that.”
It’s worth remembering that world famous PM Jacinda Ardern had announced in her Monday morning media rounds that she would talk more about how the future looks with regard to mandates at 3PM that afternoon in her regular Post Cabinet press Conference.
Caught out liar Christopher Luxon hits out at PM Jacinda Ardern, denies he sympathises with anti-mandate protesters

This is exactly what he said on Monday and implied when he spoke on Monday in this word salad of jumbled dog whistling inconsistency and hypocrisy. pic.twitter.com/UpwwQH31qk
Clearly Luxon and his advisors hurried to assemble a speech on-the-fly on Monday and delivered it at 2.30PM – just 30 minutes before Luxon knew that the PM would “enter into dialogue” with the press over how and when mandates might be lifted.
The fact Luxon knew the PM was about to deliver that clear picture at 3PM on Monday 21 February 2022 but STILL made it his business to criticise her for not doing this – had many people shaking their heads.
This was just more opposition for opposition’s sake.
What was the point of it?
Luxon was behaving in a manner typical of the old National we had already seen over the past four years.
Luxon was not helping New Zealand in a time of need and stress – but instead helping himself with cynical electioneering.
The National Party Reset clearly meant nothing and swing voters were gutted.
No way could any reasonable New Zealander vote for Luxon.
World famous PM Jacinda Ardern gave a very clear indication of when some restrictions like gathering limits and vaccine passes might end.
She outlined that in three to six weeks we will see the peak of the omicron outbreak – and then as we come DOWN THE OTHER SIDE and see our hospitalisation rates have normalised – that’s when we will start to see some of those restrictions be lifted.
Right there on Monday was the timeframe – and the PM’s remarks were all based on International evidence about when it was safe to ease restrictions.
All of this – passed straight past Leighton Baker, Chantelle Baker, Christopher Luxon, Winston Peters, David Seymour, Kelvin Alps, Marty Verry, Russell Coutts, Sue Grey, Matt King, Hannah Spierer, Derek Tait, the Grand Eftpostle and other neo nazis.
They had their timeframe – so why were they all still protesting?
They wanted to keep on protesting and grandstanding before media and media wanted the conflict to sell headlines – despite all of these people already knowing that most vaccine mandates were not permanent and soon to be lifted – probably in April 2022.
They carried on with their bullying, throwing excrement at Police, killing fish in Wellington Harbour with their sewerage, intimidating school children, preventing people from access to public places and making up stories about false flags to excuse behaviours.
I read with interest how protestors now claim that a policeman used pepper spray on himself and there was no liquid thrown on police.
Protestors and their sympathisers urge each other to “Just think about it logically…” and after a minute of dur-braining – they all 100% swallow the story they prefer without any evidence.
The idea that police set this up and the car driving into the police appeals greatly to protestors who are not leaving – some say until the government is overthrown and we have Nuremberg 2 trials.
Right now students are being prevented from doing the study they paid for and huge piles of human waste and garbage are piling up creating foul odours around the area.
Fortunately, Trev – the best Speaker ever – has done us proud again much to the ire of National Party voters like Champagne Jane.
Protesters were woken up early ( ha ha ha on ya Trev ) to another message over the speaker from Speaker Trevor Mallard reminding them they are trespassing and tents need to be removed.
Luxon has been foolish to come so close to align himself here with the river of filth – and to openly break solemn agreements …all so he can win an election in 2023.
Our world famous PM Jacinda Ardern also said in her 3PM Post Cabinet Press Conference on Monday 21 February 2022 …
.
.
“To the Opposition I would say, we all took as parties a position, and rightly so, that none of us would engage with what is ultimately illegal activity outside, that borders on and demonstrates bullying of Wellingtonians. I find their position quite upsetting given that they seem to be responding and sympathising with the protestors”.
Yes Luxon and Seymour were going back on their word really….when you look hard at all of the real context here.
New Zealanders should see these very dangerous “Trump like red flags” associated with people who break agreements out of sheer opportunism.
Here are the warning signs – pay attention to them.
Do not trust these people nor their parties come the 2023 election.
That is the main take away for voters.
